Scripting is just One Explanation on FIFA 17
Category: Guides
Tags: Scripting

It’s beyond dispute that FIFA can be a deeply frustrating experience. Sometimes, it doesn’t feel as if you are in the driver’s seat. Equalizers being scored in the 90th minute, opponents being able to catch up with a safe lead and losing streaks are just some examples of the long list of pains that FIFA players have to endure. In the community, there has been a long lasting consensus regarding the presence of some kind of foul play labelled under terms such as scripting, handicapping and momentum. If you need cheapest fifa 17 coins, just click.

People who believe that the game is rigged generally reject the mere thought that there could be other explanations than foul play to the events mentioned above, some of which are portrayed in a myriad of Youtube videos and written accounts on these topics. Yet, in this article, I’m going to present alternative explanations:

1. Relegation and losing streaks

2. 90th minute goals

3. Too-good-to-be-true come backs

Relegation and losing streaks

The first topic, I’m going to deal with, is actually two different phenomena, which however are linked and perhaps therefore sometimes confused, namely losing streaks and relegation streaks.

Losing streaks are streaks of (more or less) consecutive losses, whereas relegation streaks are streaks of (more or less) consecutive relegations. You may suffer losing streaks without getting relegated and you may get relegated without having been on an actual losing streak. Aside from the fact that results really aren’t going your way over a longer span of matches, losing streaks and relegation streaks are different phenomena, and the explanations, I’m going to present, are hence also different.

In addition to that, I’m aware that people may use the term "streak" even if the losses or relegations in fact aren’t happening in direct succession but perhaps just in close succession. The explanations, I’m going to present below, are however relevant to both the narrow and the wider use of the term "streak".

90th minute goals

All FIFA players know those painfully annoying goals in the dying minutes of the match, which turn a well deserved win into a draw or a draw into a defeat. When something as frustrating as this happens as frequently as it definitely does, it’s easy to start thinking that they are put in on purpose to change the outcome of the match. As I however will illustrate below, there is another and far more likely explanation.

Longer minutes, more goals

The term "90th minute" does not actually refer to one minute. In fact, "the 90th minute" refers to the part of the match where the clock is stopped at 90:00 aka stoppage time or injury time. Stoppage time usually lasts way more than one minute in FIFA. It’s not uncommon to see 5 minutes or more added to the second half. When considering that these 5 minutes were added because of stoppages during the 45 minutes played during the second half, we end up having 1/9 of the effective playing time of the 2nd half taking place during "the 90 minute".

All other things equal, we should expect 1/9 of the goals to be scored during the 1/9 of the playing time that constitute stoppage time. All other things are however not quite equal. In real football, the scoring frequency increases towards the end of the match. Although FUT is different in many ways, some of the factors which lead to more goals in the dying minutes of a real match, are present here as well. This includes nerves and hence more mistakes, tactical changes and of course fatigue.

Many goals in general, many goals in stoppage time

Simple math is however not the only contributor to goals being scored in "the 90th minute". Another key factor is FUT’s overall goal frequency. While an average football match in one of the five European top leagues contains approximately 2.7 goals, a FUT seasons match contains around to 3.8 goals depending of what edition of the game you are looking at. Needless to say, a general increase in the goal frequency will lead to a general increase in the frequency of goals scored in stoppage time as well.

Estimates show that the factors listed above on their own should lead to stoppage time goals in approximately every other match. Hence, I find it fair to conclude that the vast majority of the 90th minute goals happen due to the simple fact that the 90th minute isn’t one minute and that FIFA’s overall goal frequency is very high compared to real football. Whether you then chose to believe that there is a residual of 90th minute goals, which are being scripted in on purpose, is up to you.

Many of you will all immediately want to know what Ronaldo’s rating in FIFA 17 is and based on this prediction, Ronaldo is going to be an 94 rated player.

The argument for this is that EA basically have no choice but to give Ronaldo a +1 this time, after another amazing season with Real Madrid and Portugal which is likely to result in being Ballon D’or winner.

Other Real Madrid FIFA 17 rating upgrades include Benzema at 87, Kroos at 88, downgrade for Rodriguez to 86, big upgrade for Bale to 89 and an upgrade to Pepe at 85.

Do you agree with the ratings, especially Ronaldo at 94 on FIFA 17? Give us your thoughts below.

FIFA 17 Trading Tips and Tricks
Category: Guides

FIFA 17 Trading tips are especially useful when your are starting in the game. If you need help to make your first fifa 17 coins, follow the 20 best trading tips.

Start playing as soon as possible

The sooner you start playing FIFA 17, the bigger will be your chances of being successful.
In the beginning the market will be very unstable. If you know what you are doing, this is the best time to make great deals. It’s just a question of knowing how to identify the opportunities and being able to predict how the market is going to develop. You will need time to do it, so don’t miss the FUT Web App early access available for FUT 16 players who have created a Security Question and Answer on FUT console before August 1, 2016.

Focus on a parcel of the market

There are thousands of cards in FUT 17. It’s impossible for someone to have good control of all them.
Choose a branch in which you feel comfortable, study it and keep yourself updated about the changes that happen in this specific market. It’s going to be a lot easier to know about what prices you should buy or sell cards. Remember that being fast is a very important characteristic a trader must have: being fast in order to make a move and not miss the opportunity, being fast selling to increase the number of sales, being fast to notice the changes of the market, etc…

Your transfer list must always be full

Every time you don’t have your transfer list full, you are losing coins. You are missing the chance of making profit. The more cards you have for sale, more you’ll sell and more profit you’ll get.
The first thing to do is to redeem the EAS FC catalogue items to improve the size of your transfer list. Then, you just need to adjust your prices according to your sales. If you are selling to fast, it’s because you can increase the price a bit more. If you can’t sell, then it’s because you need to reduce the price.

Give your cards as much exposure as possible

The more visibility you give to your cards, the more profit you’ll get.
Most players, when searching in the market, don’t go beyond the 60 minutes page. For that reason, you should try to have your cards available the higher time possible between the first hour auctions. To do that, you just need to list them for an hour and re-list them for another hour when the auction expires. When it’s not possible, you should define the auction duration according to the time you’ll be away. For example, if you’re going to sleep, define the duration to 6 hours. Doing that you’ll make the cards stay available for a bigger amount of time on the market and you’ll be able to renew them when you wake up.

Get ride of useless cards

When starting FUT 17 you will have many of useless cards that no one wants to buy. Quick selling them is an option but before that you can try a simply trick: put them on auction with a 150c start price and a 200c buy now price.
You will see that you will sell much more cards and a few of them for the BIN price. Although, you should always check if it’s best to have these cards on auction or if you should just discard them in order to spare space on your transfer list for other cards that might give you bigger profits.

FIFA is a Different Game after Patch
Category: News

Does anybody else feel that post patch FIFA is a different game altogether?

I'm in Div 2, and need a couple of points from 5 games to stay in the division. 3 games in, and I have not scored a single goal. Perhaps this is because I came up against strong squads, but the game just feels off. I feel like I have to relearn and adjust to the game. By the way, welcome to our site, you may find free fifa 17 coins when you look through our site.

I see them cutting out older gen. In software when you have to account for multiple systems where the older system cannot do what the newer system does. This is done through what devs call "shims." For example, instead of an arbitrary example I would make up between the PS3 and PS4 lets look at something else. Internet Explorer and web development. Now, as we know, there are many iterations of IE.

But when you are making a webapp for the latest version you have to account for those viewing the website on older versions. For example, let's say that the newest version of IE supports the ability for a user to click a button and have data streamed into whatever form they are on seamlessly. Great, this all works in the version of the code you have created but it only works in IE11. In the lower versions this seamless data streaming doesn't work that way. So you write a shim. Something that informs the program to use a different piece of code when that button is hit. So instead of a seamless injection you might have a page reload.

That's just a small example. But lets think about some possibilities on the PS3 and PS4. Let's say the PS4 can hold more information in memory. Which is true. Think of memory and the hard drive as a library analogy. You are in the library studying for a subject. You don't go to the shelves and pick out one book, bring it back to the table and put that book back to grab another. You grab all of the books you find relevant to the subject and put them on the table. This way you can easily grab what book you need at the current time without walking all the way to the shelves. Memory is like the table you are working at and the hard drive/storage is like the shelves.

On the PS3 you have a smaller "table" than you do on the PS4. On the PS4 the memory might allow the code for dynamic calculations to be stored and updated quickly for the entire team. This way when a new event occurs the calculation can be performed almost instantly, the info is right there. The PS3 might only be able to load in memory the current values of all of the players but the calculations for dynamic actions needs to be retrieved every time something happens. Well, this introduces latency to a dynamic method. You need the result right away but the physical processing time might surpass when the result is expected. So devs might write a shim. On offense only offensive calculations are loaded. On defense only defensive calcs loaded. This might cause issues still through a quick change of possession causing calculations not to occur as quickly.

The devs essentially use default actions or basic simple calculations if those dynamic calcs won't return. This is just a guess. A shot at an example explaining why there might be some differences between system generations.

FIFA: Treating TOTS Players is a Mistake
Category: Players

It's surprising me. People are treating TOTS players as if they are going to be useless. I've seen the price of so many Chem Glitch favorites plummet, and here's why I think it's a mistake.

If what we understand is true, and Base chem is 4.9 (even if it's 4/5 it's still pretty much applicable) - then there is still a lot of relevance to many of these players. Especially combined with the fact that putting a chem style in the right place when the patch comes, could see you counter the negativity of up to 4 card stats. By the way,, the best in-game service provider, offer the fifa 17 coins for sale. You buy cheapest fifa 17 coins safely and enjoying our fastest delivery at!

Srna, for example

Will get 8 chem at RB with just a link to modric.

Will get 5 Chem in CM with full links around him.

Ok, so we won't REALLY be able to play Full backs in midfield anymore without penalty, but we can certainly play them in their desired position, the same with other players. I saw a lot of people played Godin TOTS at CDM.

He would still get 7 chem as a CDM, when the patch comes, and guess what..... this would be BETTER than how you're currently playing him at CDM, since he is locked to base chem. So instead of panic selling your players, plan your team carefully, understand that anyone that was already naturally on 5+ chem can stay in your team, and anyone that will now be on more than base chem will play there better than they did before.

This should really now show the 7chem ST's playing better than before. The ST's that you played LF/RF on 8chem playing better than ever before, and in general is a positive thing.

Don't panic sell your players, and then regret it when you realise that the dude you just sold for half the price, is actually twice the player than ever before!

FIFA 17 Players Reviews: Dutch TOTS Players
Category: Players
Tags: FIFA 17 Dutch TOTS Players

Today I will show you my reviews about Dutch TOTS Players, here we go.

TOTS Jasper Cillessen

As we know, goalkeepers in this FIFA are pretty inconsistent. I was pretty hesitant to splash some fifa coins on him, but since I could build a full TOTS squad of dutch players, I thought: Why the hell not?

Some key stats about him:

89 POS
88 DIV
86 REF

Overall, he's a great player if you need a dutch GK. but his huge flaw IMO is that he lacks the long throw trait so I'll give him an 7/10

TOTS Hakim Zyech

He feels like Iniesta on steroids (without 4* skills tho)

I've used him as CM, CAM, CF and ST...he's good at every position, but he works better as a CAM in a 4312.

Some key stats:

Short Passing 87
Long Passing 85
Free Kick 90+Curve 99=Goal
He's everywhere, at the right time and right place.

If you need a creative midfielder for your dutch squad BUY HIM NOW!

TOTS Davy Klaaseen

he is the dutch TOTS Marchisio, he's versatile, can play anywhere and also has a hell of a shot.

Some key stats about him:

Positioning 92
Finishing 87
Shot Power 88
Reactions 91
Strength 80

For me, his best positon was at LCM.

FIFA 17: Guides to Win Division 1 with 20k - 35k Teams
Category: Guides
Tags: FIFA 17 Teams Guides

Rule 1 - Pace plus passing plus dribbling. None of these stats need to be over 83 but if you have low 80s in all of them in your midfield and rb/lb you have the perfect players.

Rule 2 - strikers need 80 + finishing, need to be at least 80 pace, nothing else matters.

Rule 3 - buy a team rather than great players, playing with awesome players is a hindrance to most people. They focus on getting the ball to their Ronaldo or their Messi but doing so ruins their play style. And I want to tell you that is providing fifa 17 coins at cheap prices for gamers.

My current team looks like this:

ST - BACCA - 82.
ST - ROSSI - 80.
LM - ASAMOAH - 79.
CM - PIANIC - 84.
RM - PERISIC - 82.
LB - EVRA - 81.
CB - MIRANDA - 85.
RB - BASTA - 80.

It seems everyone is spending 100's a year on packs and coins for TOTS etc, this stuff does not make you better at the game. Getting good with a team does.

FIFA 17 Game Skills
Category: Guides
Tags: FIFA 17 Game Skills

Some players say "if I hit the sprint trigger in pursuit of a through ball with Aubameyang, I shouldn't be blown past by some average-ass CB with 65 pace."

I want to tell you if you are through with aubameyang, then that won't happen. But if you have to run past the defender, its a bit harder - because he will get into your body and push you away. In all instances where he is close enough to not let you run freely you will find a harder time to get past as you will be kind of locked to that player, until either of you manage to brake it to one of the players advantage. But if you are slightly ahead, in an unreachable position from the defenders body (arms, legs, shoulder), you will stay ahead (unless the factors below apply).

The other factor is the angles. If you have to run diagonally either with the ball or towards the ball, any player that can run in a straight line will cover ground slightly faster, making the pace stat slightly less important. That doesnt mean that you cant outrun him though, but chances are smaller.

Then, if you have the ball it becomes a skill game, as running with the ball is much slower than running without the ball. But if you are able to do well timed, well directed knock ons, you can run at almost full speeds even with the ball. But as I said, at that point, your skills doing that particular move matter. It is possible to do poor knock ons that wont work. Takes practice.
